It feels like cheating. For the past days I haven’t updated myself with my fandom (Tohoshinki) because I’ve moved on… to KAT-TUN. Haha. When I saw that video (above) I died of spasms. For years I was obsessed with the Gyaru-o style. Gyaru-o is a Japanese street fashion subculture that was popular late 90s and early millennium. Gyaru-o’s distinctive signature is the dark tan complexion with light brown to blonde hair. Like these boys here. From then it evolved to countless subcultures and it became more and more expensive to live the Gyaru-o life. I did take part in some ridiculous doings like tanning my skin. I’m already brown skinned but there was a time that I self-tan. That was bad since my skin ended up two-toned and it wasn’t a pretty sight. And I also bleached my hair. Now it’s extremely damaged. I’m planning bleaching again next month but my hair might end up like sotanghon. I hope not.
Back to KAT-TUN. Aren’t they stylish? I almost didn’t recognize Kame. He gained a bit of weight and he actually looked more handsome. Is it just me or doesn’t he look very much like TOP now? Hmmm… Anyway, I’m in love with their song RESCUE (video above). J-pop always breaks bounderies. The track is dark, slow-rock number that burst into full blown trance. I love it! Just my kind of music.
KAT-TUN is the poster boys of Gyaru-o. And yeah… my favorite porn star is also Gyaru-o. LOL

OMG, I thought this was THSK at first glance :)) Like the guy at the top left was Changmin and the guy down right was Yunho! :)) But then I was like where are the others? then I saw Koki Tanaka whom I totally lust for and then I finally noticed that this was Kat-tun! :))
